About Supportive Teens
Supportive Teens is a youth-led nonprofit organization aims to provide community relief for different causes by connecting with local charities. We hosted fundraisers to raise money to provide support to our community during the COVID Pandemic.
About My Role
As a Media Manager, I mainly utilizes Canva to create media content for our social media page such as instagram and facebook:
Additionally, I also used Wix to manage and upload updates about our event. Interested donors can learn more about our event and contributstions through this Website. Also volunteers can stay updated about our lastest volunteering opportunities through the page as well.
Our Achivements
Our team raised more than $5,000 and provided more than 3,200 meals to people in need
Conclusion
Becoming the co-founder of Supportive Teens was one of the things I am greatly proud of. Through this experience, the team assisted numerous charities. I am really glad to provide a helping hand to my community during the pandemic. By organizing the fundraisers, I also improved my leadership skills and collaboration skills. I had a lot of fun collaborating with the team members and volunteers to make the events possible. I am so proud of all the great results my team has achived
